Password reset issues:
*Email may be misspelled or have an unwanted space
*Password reset response email went into spam/junk folder
*Receives message “The forgot password code is invalid or expired. Please try again.”
- the most current request is not being used. Recommend to the bidder to delete all response emails they have currently received and wait an hour before they try requesting a new reset request 1 time
- it has been more than 1 hour since requesting the password reset, so the password reset code expired.
*Receives message "The captcha must be completed"
- This means the box for "I'm not a robot" wasn't checked.
*Requesting a password reset does not cancel out the current password. (Same password can be reused)
*Unlimited resets can be attempted
*Same password can be used on a new account
*Email addresses are NOT case sensitive
*Passwords ARE case sensitive
Requesting password reset for bidder:
- Copy email listed on account
- Log out of K-BID
- Request password reset
- Paste email address
- Log back into K-BID
