Emailing PS2000/VTAP to Affiliate

When emailing the PS2000/VTAP to the affiliate, the following note should be added to the email body as a reminder to the affiliate:

Confirm with person picking up (BEFORE printing permit if applicable):

Name & driver’s license number in Section D of VTAP/PS2000 MUST match person picking up.

Registering to company name – Driver’s license number in Section D MUST match person picking up.

**Please note, should changes be needed on the VTAP/PS2000, the attached 21-day permit (if applicable) will no longer be valid.

Remember ONLY signatures, NO dates

Confirm Title & VTAP/PS2000 have correct number of signatures needed and are signed in the correct places.

Contact K-BID with any necessary changes to VTAP/PS2000.

Please note:  The title application (VTAP/PS2000) is incredibly important in the transfer of a title when going through a dealer.  All the information listed for the transfer is listed on it and MUST be correct.  The titles are needed primarily for signatures, very little else is written on them.  This law changed to help reduce mistakes during the transferring of titles.  So PLEASE have the bidder review the information before signing.  Then PLEASE review the information yourself to make sure the legal name, driver’s license number, date of birth & signatures match.  Doing this BEFORE the bidder leaves will save everyone a great deal of time and effort if a correction is needed.

Permits – Please check invoice to see if both plates and tabs are needed or only tabs.  When ONLY TABS are needed, place the permit over the rear license plate, leaving the license plate in place.
